]]> On March 19, David Jay will serve as the international reviewer and lead the project review in Vienna of the Danube River Project: “Christian-Doppler-Laboratory for Advanced Methods in River Monitoring, Modelling and Engineering”. This is a project of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU), funded by the Austrian Government, with industry partners, including “via donau,” the Austria port system for the Danube (Donau in German) River. It seeks innovative means of managing the Danube for ecosystem restoration, support of navigation and flood control, using advanced data collection and analysis methods, and numerical modeling.
